Yuval Noah Harari is an author known for his bestsellers such as Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow, 21 Lessons for the 21st Century and Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind. He was born in Israel in 1976 and received his PhD from Oxford University in 2002. He is also a two-time winner of the prestigious Polonsky Prize for originality and creativity. He currently works as a lecturer in the Department of History at Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
